Service Description

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. For more information please reference the attachment you will receive via e-mail when you register for this course.

Cancellation Policy

Please read the following very carefully, as there are NO EXCEPTIONS to our booking policies. Cancellations and rescheduling requests are allowed up to 48 hours prior to the class start date. The class cannot be canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the start date. Per American Red Cross policy, the online training must be completed prior to the skill session. You must present the online competition certificate to be admitted to the class. You will receive the online learning link shortly after registration. If you do not receive the online learning link within 5 minutes of registration, email alicewadley@hssmass.com. Students who do not complete the online training will be asked to reschedule and pay the full registration fee. All healthcare-related positions, including nurses, doctors, dentists, dental assistants/hygienists, EMS, PT, OT, RT, phlebotomists, and pharmacists, require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Please ensure you have registered for the correct class to avoid paying the full registration fee again. Instructor Classes: Cancellations and rescheduling requests are allowed up to one week prior to the start date of the class. The class cannot be canceled or rescheduled within one week of the start date. Per American Red Cross policy, students cannot be admitted 5 minutes past the class start time. Late arrivals will be asked to reschedule and pay the full registration fee. Please allow time for traffic and on-street parking. A 2.9% credit card processing fee applies to all refunds.
